Our Accessibility Approach

Our goal is for this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This is a goal, not a certification, and we treat reported barriers as problems to fix.

Accessibility Features and Ongoing Improvements

  • Pages, including the menu, expandable sections, and calculators, are designed to work with a keyboard alone.
  • Focus indicators are kept visible so keyboard users can see where they are.
  • Body text is designed to meet a 4.5 to 1 contrast ratio against its background.
  • Headings are used in order so screen reader users can navigate by structure.
  • Form fields have visible labels, and errors are designed to be announced rather than shown by color alone.
  • Motion is limited, and the site is designed to honor the reduced motion setting in your operating system.
  • Text is designed to enlarge to 200 percent without loss of content or function.
  • Important information is not meant to rely on color alone.

The community portal

Resident and board account access runs on a third-party platform at its own address. Its accessibility is governed by that vendor. If you encounter a barrier there, tell us anyway. We will help you complete the task by phone or email and raise it with the provider.
